Ben Sorensen


Ben has always had a passion for marketing. In high school, Ben was DECA state champion in “Business Services Marketing” and a two-time national qualifier. After high school Ben attended Fort Lewis College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Minor in Economics. After graduating, he worked for a marketing agency for almost 9 years, before finally founding Ascent Digital in 2021. When he isn’t helping businesses with their marketing, he is enjoying raising a family in Durango and enjoying all the area has to offer!

Chris Vanzandt

Full Funnel strategy

Chris Van Zandt is the Director of Sales, providing sales support, management, and educational resources to sales teams at media outlets across the country. Chris has over 11 years of sales experience focused primarily on digital sales and marketing.
Chris has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual and team goals. Chris sits on the AdCellerant Sales Team to help train and advise on partner growth and digital knowledge.
Chris brings sales delivery, training, account management, customer support, and client relations skills to the AdCellerant team. Before joining AdCellerant, Chris worked as an Account Manager for Apex Systems, focusing on business-to-business sales in Information Technology, Business Applications, and Telecommunications. Before joining Apex, Chris was an Account Executive for Voice Media Group.

Amy Engle

Public Relations

Creative communications is the unifying thread of Amy’s career. Amy holds an MFA in poetry from the University of Utah, and brings her poetic sensibilities to bear on everything from content creation and design to big-picture strategy. Amy has produced digital and print media for national consumer, trade, and lifestyle publications, managed PR and digital marketing campaigns for businesses, nonprofits, and a top-secret (sorta) National Laboratory.  A serial entrepreneur at heart, Amy’s passion is helping businesses and organizations develop holistic strategies to get to that next level.

Brittany See

COO OF Ascent Digital

Ascent Digital’s Vice President and co-owner is Brittany See. She has a BA in Psychology and a minor in Biology from FLC. Despite having no prior experience in digital marketing, she has quickly ascended to the top of the field in the last five years. Brittany began her career as a Digital Sales Representative at another agency, then quickly advanced to managing a team of six before assisting in the founding of her own agency. She now understands every facet of digital marketing strategy and campaign execution. She oversees Ascent Digital’s operations and is continuously on the search for new knowledge in order to stay current with industry trends. She considers owning a business to be the most satisfying decision she has ever made. She spends her free time hiking, playing disc golf, snowboarding, and doing yoga.

Robel Taylor

Graphic designer

Robel is Ascent Digital’s Creative Director. He helps our clients to establish and strengthen consumer connection by creating an effective marketing/brand strategy to keep their brand consistent throughout all marketing aspects.

He has excellent design skills in graphic, environmental, stage, product, web design and conceptual solutions by using the creative processes. Robel has over 20 years of design experience and has developed more than 100 brands. His creative work cuts through the noise online and helps our client’s stand out from their competition.

Henry Monahan

FUll funnel strategy

Henry has worked in Digital Marketing/Advertising for small and medium-sized businesses for over nine years. He began his career by delivering consumer reports in the sampling industry, selling SEO over the phone, and, most recently, is focused on providing small to medium-sized businesses with full-funnel digital marketing strategies. He is responsible for $2MM per year in advertising revenue, has taken numerous sales training classes, and cut his teeth in prospecting by making over 100 calls per day, taking prospects through the objection cycle, and post-sale follow-up. When not in the office, Henry loves playing golf, hanging out with my Boston Terrier/Jack Russell mix, and making connections with new people.

Peyton Rutkowski

Video Production

Originally from Aurora, CO, Peyton is our lead Videographer/Photographer (and resident reel expert)! When not at work, Peyton enjoys playing with her dog Bentley, making candles, and playing hockey. Her favorite part about working at Ascent is the environment that values both success and culture!

Brian Krejci

Content marketing Expert

Ask Brian what he brings to the team here at Ascent, and his modest response might be something like, “Decent writing, editing…some strategy.” This humble statement would be a restrained minimization of his talents. We are thrilled to have somebody who brings not only high-caliber writing, but also creative strategy and a keen eye for design and production. Blessed with a natural marketing mind and talents, he has 3 years of experience designing sales funnels and creating the content at each level of the customer journey. His kids have flown the nest, and he landed his dream mountain home here with his wife, Buffy, last year. Brian and Buffy love travel and adventure, and he would be upset if I didn’t mention that his fried cauliflower street tacos are the best you will ever have.

Ben Lewinger

Public Relations

At the age of 12, Ben knew he wanted to be a religion teacher. He didn’t have the words at the time to describe it, but he was (and still is) obsessed with how people make meaning of the world and their place in it, and how our communal stories – the myths of old and new – shape how we view and interact with the world and each other. After twelve years working in the nonprofit sector, Ben’s role shifted to consulting nonprofits, businesses, and coalitions on how to do a better job to tell their stories and to win the day. He’s still holding out hope on being a religion teacher.
