We’re looking for a Paid Ads Specialist to join our team—someone who thrives in the fast-paced digital landscape, has a deep understanding of paid media, and is passionate about driving measurable results.
Role Overview:
The Ads Specialist will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Google Ads (PPC), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and other digital advertising platforms. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in media buying, ad placement, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop, launch, and manage PPC and Meta ad campaigns to achieve client goals, including lead generation, e-commerce sales, and brand awareness.
- Media Buying & Budget Allocation: Strategically allocate budgets, adjust bids, and optimize placements to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Audience Targeting & Testing: Build and refine audience segments, conduct A/B testing, and analyze performance to enhance ad effectiveness.
- Optimization & Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously optimize campaigns for click-through rates (CTR), cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and conversion rates.
- Ad Creative & Copy Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy, visuals, and video assets that align with campaign objectives.
- Landing Page & Conversion Rate Optimization: Provide recommendations for landing page improvements to enhance ad performance.
- Reporting & Insights: Generate and present weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights, detailing campaign performance and optimization strategies.
- Industry & Platform Updates: Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and new ad formats to ensure Ascent Digital stays ahead of the competition.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience managing PPC (Google Ads, YouTube Ads) and paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Proven track record of successful media buying and campaign optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and analytics tools.
- Experience with keyword research, audience targeting, and conversion tracking.
- Understanding of UTM parameters, pixels, and tracking setup for performance measurement.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working with e-commerce, lead generation, and local business campaigns is a plus.
- Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications are a bonus.
