About the Role:

The role of an advertising/marketing account executive involves acting as a liaison between the client and the advertising/marketing agency. The account executive is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the client’s advertising/marketing campaigns, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

Key responsibilities of an advertising/marketing account executive include:

  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients: The account executive is the primary point of contact for the client, and is responsible for building and maintaining a strong, trusting relationship with them.
  2. Developing and implementing advertising/marketing strategies: The account executive works with the client to understand their goals and objectives, and develops advertising/marketing strategies that meet these goals.
  3. Managing the creative process: The account executive works closely with the creative team to develop advertising/marketing concepts and campaigns that meet the client’s needs.
  4. Managing budgets and timelines: The account executive is responsible for managing the budget for each advertising/marketing campaign, and ensuring that all work is delivered on time and within budget.
  5. Conducting market research: The account executive must stay up-to-date with market trends and conduct research to ensure that the advertising/marketing campaigns are effective and meet the client’s needs.
  6. Providing reports and updates: The account executive must provide regular reports and updates to the client on the progress of their advertising/marketing campaigns, and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.
  7. Negotiating contracts: The account executive may be involved in negotiating contracts with media outlets and other vendors to ensure that the client’s advertising/marketing campaigns are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Overall, an advertising/marketing account executive must be a skilled communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients and work effectively with fulfillment teams. They must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring that all work is delivered on time and within budget.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Marketing
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
